...musical roots lie in the folkscene of Vienna's Tradivarium. Since 1998 he is playing with Smoky Finish. Bernhart combines bodhrán with darabuka, cajon and hi-hat, which gives a folky pseudo-percussion sound.
Besides that he es also playing the flute and tinwhistle. During a study-year at Manchester he prefered joining the sessions than following his lessons.
